Do you have wakeboard opportunities for someone who has never ridden?

  • Yes, we have numerous opportunities to learn to ride at Quest.  Our beginner cable is always open during business hours and has an instructor there ready to help you learn to wakeboard.  Starting in 2023 we will have slow ride times on our main cable, to help transition from the beginner cable.  Of course, you are always welcome to try our main cable at any time during the day.  Some people transition very easily to the main cable, but our slow ride times are designed to help those having a little more difficulty making that transition.  On Tuesdays, we have ladies night program from 5pm-7pm, and we will honor requests to slow the cable down as well.  See our instruction page under the wake park menu tab for further details.

Slow Ride Times: Wednesdays from 5pm-7pm, Saturdays from 1pm-2pm, and Sundays from 1pm-2pm

How is your water quality?

  • Our lake is filled with natural rain water run-off and is tested annually. All of our tests have passed with high quality results.  It is a natural lake with a well maintained eco system that includes fish and other natural wildlife to help to keep our lake healthy.  Wake boarding and other Quest activities continue to aerate the lake on a daily basis.  We have NO pond scum or algae sitting on top of our lake and we have never had any issues with blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) blooms or any other toxic type bacteria.

How deep is the water and what’s on the bottom?

  • Our lake is anywhere from 8′ to 17′ deep when full.  The lake fluctuates annually due to evaporation and rain.  The bottom of the lake is black and yellow clay, which makes for an excellent lake bottom and easy on the feet.
